Sphaerophorus globosus

It is used as a bioindicator of clean air, humidity and good forest health.

This lichen, which was very common just a few decades ago, is becoming increasingly rare. It is one of the five species most sensitive to atmospheric pollution.
We are lucky to be able to meet him in the commune of Saint André en Vivarais.
