Storytelling mycological walk

In the great magic cauldron of nature, let's put a few pinches of dreams, a big handful of natural science, some mushroom powder to bind it all together, wait and listen. Oh yes, and also, let's be inventive and creative by daring to add a little fresh water, dead leaves, a few seeds, we will probably obtain a delicious mixture with beautiful warm colors and scents of humus from the undergrowth. Here are the essential ingredients to obtain the recipe for:

the narrated mycological walk .

Since the fungal kingdom (mushrooms and lichens) is essential for our life, and wonder is the first step towards respecting and protecting biodiversity, why not take this first step with family or in a group, in the forest or elsewhere, to discover the mysteries of nature in a fun way.

By the way, did you know that it could well be

  • that the fly agaric is the origin of our Christmas celebrations,

  • that herbivorous animals shape their biotope in relation to their food needs thanks to the mycelium,

  • that there is a link between good sea fishing spots and mushrooms,

  • that Moses owes his salvation to lichens, and so do Egyptian mummies!

  • that lichens allowed life to emerge from the water,

  • that there can be no forest without mushrooms,

  • that the porcini mushroom does everything to attract worms?

But quite simply, do you really know what a mushroom is, how to recognize it, pick it, cook it, and its role in nature?

This is only one version of the story of mushrooms, because there is another! Stories have always been passed down, sometimes distorted, sometimes embellished. Tales have a power over the imagination, and yet, true to life, they have not signed any pact with the fly agaric! Although... when two mysterious worlds meet, the alchemy thus created can explain the why and how.
