About the event

Wonder is the first step towards respecting and protecting nature.

The world of lichens is little known, mysterious and yet essential to life on earth. It is called neglected biodiversity.

Did you know that lichens cover more than 8% of the surface of our planet and that thanks to photosynthesis they contribute to a significant part of the oxygenation of the air we breathe, that they are formidable indicators of atmospheric pollution and the good health of our forests.

Lichens are at the center of multiple studies in various fields, such as medicine, space research, industry, gastronomy, ecological balance.

You will be surprised by this world rich in shapes and colors, worthy of the most beautiful coral decorations of warm seas and you will no longer look at nature in the same way.
